Privacy Policy

1. Privacy-First Philosophy
At TypingClub, your personal privacy is fundamental to how we build software. We believe that learning to type should never require surrendering your personal identity, email address, or online habits. TypingClub does not require account creation, does not maintain user profile databases, and does not sell or share any user data with third-party advertisers.
2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device (localStorage)
To provide a continuous learning experience across all 150 levels, TypingClub utilizes your browser's native localStorage feature. This saves the following information locally on your computer or mobile device:
- Which lessons you have completed.
- Your best recorded WPM and accuracy scores.
- Your personal records for timed typing tests (15s, 30s, 60s, 120s, 300s).
- Your total accumulated typing practice time and keystroke counts.
- Your unlocked achievement badges.
- Your preferences for sound effects (ON/OFF) and visual color theme (Light/Dark).
This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time by clicking the "Reset All Progress" button on the Progress Dashboard or by clearing your browser cache.
3. Server Logs and Hosting
Like virtually all standard web servers, our hosting provider (such as Hostinger) may record basic technical logs containing IP addresses, browser user agents, and page request timestamps to monitor server health, prevent denial-of-service attacks, and ensure network security.
4. Cookies & Third-Party Tracking
TypingClub does not use tracking cookies, advertising beacons, or invasive analytics pixels. All application state is maintained client-side via JavaScript.
5. Contact Information
If you have any questions or concerns regarding our privacy practices, please contact us at privacy@typingclub.local.
